Hey everyone, James Grage here. Look, it's no secret that for the past 4 1/2 years, I've been known as the "resistance band guy", but I've been creating workout video content since 2009, pushing boundaries, testing limits, and sharing it all with you. Now, it’s time to jump back to where it all began: "The Lab Rat" series, which was the first series that I put out in partnership with Muscle&Fitness magazine. No frills, no BS, just keeping it real with hard-hitting workouts and honest feedback.

This time, I'm stepping up the game, and believe me when I say, it's a giant leap. We’re talking about training under the guidance of the one and only Frank Zane. Yes, THE Frank Zane, the 3-time Mr. Olympia legend who defined what it means to have an aesthetic physique. This isn’t about following the latest trend, it's about returning to the roots of bodybuilding with a regime that stood the test of time, a regimen that sculpted legends.

I’ve been at this for over three decades, never once being coached by anyone else. But if there’s anyone to take guidance from, it’s a master like Zane. We're going to be dissecting his exact workouts from the '70s, the same routines that led him to his Mr. Olympia victories. Frank and I have been hammering out every single detail, through discussions over email and video calls.

In this first video, I'm breaking down the nuts and bolts of the exact "push/pull/legs" split that Frank followed. This is more than just a series; it's a raw, unfiltered look into what it takes to build a physique that stands the test of time.
